NAB is a beautiful home and educational institution for the visually challenged children of Uttarakhand. The main aim is to provide education and later on vocational training so that the children become independent and join the mainstream society. They are also taught to perform all their routine day to day activities without anybody's help so as to instill a sense of worthiness and confidence in them. They are also involved in various types of sports, workshops, competitions etc. In no way they are treated as "different". NAB is a self sufficient unit with its 0.63 hectare campus, playground, tube well, solar panels etc. NAB is a small step today which hopes to take a giant leap tomorrow.
