Here at the National Association of Women Real Estate Agents, we do not fall victim to the following old adage: "Real estate is a man's world." Quite the contrary, actually. According to the data provided by NAR as of April 2009, women comprise 60% of all REALTORS®…and they also account for 54% of all REALTORS® who have been in the business for 16 years or more! So, what's that all about? Here at the National Association of Women Real Estate Agents, we know that females bring a different essence to everything we do, we are women after all! The problem is, that we have been taught that real estate is a man's world and that we should try to emulate them in business…ummm…really? The statistics prove otherwise…they show that even though we have been brain-washed into thinking that real estate is a man's world, and even though we have tried to be "like" men as we were told…our numbers in the industry are higher. Why is that?
