Wheel Clamping on private land wasn't new and I didn't invent it (contrary to belief) Wheel clamping was carried out by almost all the high street retailers who had a back door or loading bay and the guts to try to extort £5 out of the unsuspecting motorist. I merely turned the concept into a service! Now National Clamps 850 clients are dispersed in 365 towns and cities through out the UK, our franchises immobilise around a thousand vehicles per month and our 'Clamper's' in training issue a further 500 FPN's until they get an SIA license. My patent (The Triangle clamp with the chains) is British home office type approved and has immobilised over 3 million motorists by its 18th birthday.
