National Group Benefits Meeting (NGBM) Details
Running in combination with the Canadian Group Insurance Brokers (CGIB) Association, Blake Waddell, Lindsay Gibson, and Jay Nadler, have created an education platform to help Benefit Plan Advisors better support their clients. These sessions are about learning and sharing knowledge with Advisor participants from across the country. There is no cost to participate and there are no Continuing Education (CE) credits. Everyone helps everyone. Group benefit advisors looking to improve their knowledge and add to the industry are encouraged to join. On average we host 4 sessions per year.The founders of the National Group Benefits Meeting (NGBM) are all active members of CGIB. We highly recommend that any advisor who wishes to learn and improve his or her skills, join the CGIB and become active. Two sessions per year are based on questions from advisors who will be attending the sessions. In these session, we encourage all advisors who have answers to become part of the conversation. These sessions are open and collaborative.The other two sessions are topics that are of general interest to most professional advisors and are designed to help everyone grow their practice.
