Alternative Dispute Resolution - Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
NLS NMC is the flagship event of ADR Board of the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bengaluru. NLS NMC is a unique initiative aimed at providing a platform to students from across the globe to learn and hone their alternative dispute resolution skills in a cross-cultural setting. The competition also serves as a qualifier for ICC Mediation Week, Paris, and as the Indian qualifier for the International Negotiation Competition. Previous editions of the Competition have witnessed large turnouts, and have been extremely well received. The Competition has been heralded as one of the best and fastest growing ADR competitions in the Asia-Pacific Region. We believe that the untapped potential of ADR is waiting to be harnessed and NMC is one such initiative which attempts to spread awareness about ADR in India. The vision of NMC is twofold. First, to organise a tournament at par with other international negotiation and mediation competitions which would help law students hone their inter-personal skills and second, to familiarise aspiring law students with the area of ADR in order to motivate them to join us in our efforts of furthering the practise of ADR in the country.Contact us at adrboard@nls.ac.in or message us on our Facebook or Instagram page if you need us to email the pre-invite to your university's official email address. This page is run by students of NLSIU, organized as the Alternate Dispute Resolution Board ('ADR Board'), NLSIU.
