The National Railroad Hall of Fame celebrates the spirit of the railroaders. The ingenuity, vision and courage embodied in the lives of Hall of Fame inductees offer magnificent stories of national importance. The Congress of the United States formally recognized the National Railroad Hall of Fame through the U.S. House of Representatives Resolutoin #342, which was passed on October 8, 2003 and the U.S. Congressional Senate Resolution #255 which was passed on April 28, 2004.
