Teacher learning is essential to student achievement.Today, teachers must find new ways to teach, ways that are not taught in college or in a teacher preparation program. They must create lessons and units on their own or working with colleagues. They rely on a plethora of curriculum resources, academic standards, instructional priorities, assessment targets, and numerous other "inputs" from their school districts or schools, websites, conferences, workshops, and whatever else they can identify as a quality resource. The National Teach Foundation is dedicated to supporting teacher learning in as many ways as possible. We support teachers and their leaders by aligning resources and initiatives, identifying effective learning opportunities, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
