Native Food & Wine was started in 2009 by Amber Share and Kevin Lynch who combine their 30 years experience in food, wine and cultural history to produce this site. We love to learn how people around the world are growing food, how they eat, drink and cook, what their stories are and what their lives are like. We tend to focus on Mediterranean countries, because we share a love for their histories and cuisines, though we do try to get out and see what the rest of the world is doing as well. Recently, we spent 14 months traveling the world interviewing food and wine producers and researching cuisines. A lot of that work can be seen and read here on Native Food & Wine. In addition to this site and our freelance work we also teach classes, provide cellar stocking and personal chef services.
