Its been difficult to come up with words to describe Native. Its not just a company or another sustainability project. We are bringing back an human element to doing business and living in harmony with our surroundings. Every decision we make, we must ask what is the impact? Who and what does it affect? Is there a better solution? Under the guidelines of ethics and harmony, we are creating a new type of vacation residence called Native. So.... What is Native? General: Native will consist of 7 vacation rentals, an artist/volunteer residence, along with an outdoor kitchen/common area, yoga deck, meditation room, and serious beauty. Construction: The majority of materials used during construction will consist of up-cycled, recycled, and natural materials. This includes the use of shipping containers, pallet wood, clay, and straw. We will be using techniques that have been used for 1000s of years that seem to have been lost in time. We will be running some really interesting workshops starting at the beginning of the year. These workshops consist of working with wood, welding, earth forming, and so on. We would love your help!
