Naturestream.TV (www.NatureStream.tv) was founded by renowned nature & travel photographers Olof & Elizabeth Carmel. NatureStream.tv apps provide instant access to the Carmel's nature relaxation films and art displays. Professor Dacher Keltner, an expert in the science of emotion at the University of California, Berkeley, has published a study which concludes that even short engagement with nature films leads to significant increases in positive emotions. This study found substantial decreases in emotions such as nervousness, anxiety, fear, stress and tiredness. "I have long believed that viewing sublime and beautiful nature in painting, film and video shifts how we look at the world, and humbles us, brings into focus our core goals, diminishes the petty voice of the self and strengthens our nervous system," says Keltner, who has published numerous studies on the psychological and physiological effects of nature-inspired awe.
