The NBA Yao Basketball Club (NYBC), which is jointly developed by NBA China and Yao Ming, provides after-school, weekend, and holiday basketball training and competitions for boys and girls ages 6-18 years old. NYBC's Vision is that we develop skilled and knowledgeable players that possess qualities such as fair play, sportsmanship, teamwork, caring, and consideration for others. We use the game of basketball to enhance the quality of life for youth in China by inspiring them to be physically fit and confident and have an enjoyment of playing basketball that can yield a lifetime of participation.
