The Norwegian-Brazilian Chamber of Commerce was established on March 16th,1995. It is a non-profit and non-political association. Its purpose is to develop valuable network arenas for its members, promoting and enabling business growth, investment, trade and collaboration, between Norway and Brazil.We work in close cooperation with Team Norway, to showcase the capabilities of the Norwegian Business Cluster, to identify and promote the capabilities of the Brazilian most prominent business areas (O&G, offshore maritime operations, agribusiness, mining, renewal energy, aquaculture, ICT, among others).Develop working committees that engage our members in discussing relevant issues that promote debates, exchanging experiences as well as warning on relevant news. Five working committees, Legal RJ – Legal SP – Finance – HR – Regulatory and a special member forum for GOLD members only, held under the Chatam House Rule.The NBCC has one of the currently most accessed Norwegian-Brazilian news sections available on the internet, with approximately 10.000 visits per month. We publish news and updates about the development of Norwegian business in Brazil and other activities of interest of our members. You can promote your company through articles on our digital and printed magazine Nordiclight, as well as publish articles on our weekly newsletter, which is sent to the chamber's mailing. You can also advertise in the magazine, contact us for details.By being one of the responsible institutions for promoting network between Norwegian and Brazilian companies and people, the NBCC makes presence at the Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference by organizing the NBCC ROG Networking Dinner. Last edition took place on September 26th, 2018, at the Itanhangá Golf Club in Rio de Janeiro and counted with the participation of more than 500 executive; the 8th edition will take place in September 2020. The Norwegian Consulate General in Rio and Innovation Norway are some of the collaborators.
