The department also provides computer-based learning tools which allow students in class and long distance to work at their own pace, track their progress, and enables them to work after class on their own computers or at computers located throughout the New Community network.Students are encouraged to register for more than 1 semester whenever needed and in fact over 35% of our clients participate in at least 3 of the 4 semesters offered each fiscal year.It should also be noted that each semester NCC-Adult Learning Center offers free workshops, seminars, and health screenings. These services are made possible with the collaboration of private entities, educational institutions, non-profit organizations, and outstanding community volunteers. The additional free services are aligned with the EFF standards in order to enrich and enhance our clients learning experience.
