The goal of the North Carolina Cannabis Patients Network (NCCPN) is to educate the public at large to the safety, efficacy and need for patient protection and medical marijuana legislation in North Carolina.The mission of NCCPN is to represent the patients of the state of North Carolina who use, or would like to use, cannabis as medicine, their families, caregivers and medical professionals. Our mission is to enhance the public awareness of the importance for safe and legal access to cannabis/marijuana for therapeutic uses and research.NCCPN will stand as a network of patients to protect the rights of these NC citizens. Our ultimate goal is to return dignity and freedom to NC's sick and suffering citizens who use cannabis as their medicine.We work with numerous reform organizations across the state and the country. We are affiliated and aligned with Americans for Safe Access, Students for Sensible Drug Policy, Patients Out of Time, The Marijuana Policy Project, as well as numerous non-profits across the state.NCCPN is a member of the NC Center for Non-Profits, based in Raleigh, NC.The officers of NCCPN share a total of 38 years experience in medical cannabis reform advocacy.
