NCTU Model United Nations Details
National Chiao Tung University Model United Nations (NCTUMUN), founded in 2014, is one of the newest university MUN clubs in Taiwan. Hoping to further promote Model UN events not only within the campus but to the whole city and the country, we continuously devote ourselves to hosting real MUNCs and holding activities that would provide some glimpses into the magical world of MUN. Although still striving in its bud, NCTUMUN has been seeking for partnerships and cooperations with MUN clubs in other universities, which would soon lead us to a more integrated organization. NCTUMUN engages in an authentic simulation of the United Nations system by learning about the UN system, the skills of debate, compromise, conflict resolution and negotiation. MUN team members have fun learning about the workings of world diplomacy through the lens of current events.
