The word Ndulu ("n'dooloo") means wave in the local language of Nias Island, honoring the world class surfing that this area is known for. Our mission is to provide quality English language instruction and enrichment activities to the disadvantaged local village children of South Nias Island, Indonesia. We enlist the help of passionate, adventurous travelers who are looking to give back to this inspiring community in a meaningful and impactful way. In exchange for volunteer services we offer surfboard rentals or lessons, local excursions, home-stays, and an unforgettable, authentic cultural experience.English is the key that can unlock many doors of opportunity for these amazing children, who are all so eager to learn.
