Our journey started in 2015 with the launch of our Twitter account that gives readers a live feed of news in the North East. Over the course of running that account, we have been sent many of your stories and wanted to be able to publish them under our own name. We have been developing this newsgroup for about a year now and are very happy to launch in 2017. If you have a story or would like to write for us send your story email us at news@nenewsgroup.ukWe are a part of the Beach Hut Media Group brand:Beach Hut Media Group was set up in late 2015 and is holding group of what will be a number of smaller entities.We launched Beach Hut Radio in January 2016 in the Blyth Enterprise Centre in Blyth – we had a small office and with a separate studio across the corridor. Ray and his team at the center were brilliant and very supportive however by April 2017 we had outgrown the facilities and moved to bigger purpose-built facilities at The Steamboat Inn in Blyth – and we took over the top floor – with an office, reception, meeting room and two fully operational radio studios.September of 2017 saw us partner with the NE News Group which brings you local news and events from the North East of England. It has a wide range of journalist writers who produce content for the group and it's growing audience of readers.October of 2017 saw us launch the Paul Cummings Photography Gallery and Studio is known as studio 3 with great success! Paul is infamous for his quality photography and design work in aspects such as Theatre, Landscape, and Portrait.In November of 2017 we launched our new Beach Hut Radio website together with the Beach Hut Shop – all designed and powered by the talented Dan Wilkinson from DW Media.
