NOTDRS aims to improve the PhD student experience within the Faculty of Biochemistry at Monash University.NOTDRS host several social activities such as the monthly 'Escape the Lab' with pizza and drinks, lunchtime BBQ's, and evening events. The annual biochemistry student symposium and the orations by final year doctoral students provide opportunities for students to disseminate their research and develop their professional communication skills. Additionally, NOTDRS has regular contact with academic staff and can advocate on behalf of the postgraduate student body.The NOTDRS are a friendly postgraduate student group founded to:1. Organise networking events between students and staff2. Provide professional development opportunities for doctoral students3. Provide a point of contact between the Head of Department and student body4. Organise social events to escape the lab and provide stress relief
