Negros Oriental Music Society Details

Negros Oriental Music Society (also known as NOMS), was founded by Prof. Jeremias Navarro Perez on December 11, 2014 by the time the group joined the Daygon sa Bayawan Christmas Choral Competition. At that moment, the members were consisted of students from Negros Oriental State University (NORSU). The reason behind the name NOMS was due to its members residing from different municipalities within Negros Oriental Region. Some of its members are from Dumaguete City, Bayawan City, Tanjay City, Bais City, Amlan, Manjuyod, Zambuangita, Bacong, and Valencia. The choral group has 27 members as of today. Right now, the choir sings on weddings, concerts, recitals, and other special occasions.
