Nehru Arts and Science College, Autonomous, Coimbatore has emerged from the galaxy of Nehru Group of Institutions with the dictum, "Knowledge is wisdom". It is affiliated to Bharathiar University, recognized by UGC with 2 (f) and 12 (B), certified with ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004. NASC was reaccredited with "A" Grade. The College aims quality education which focuses on three iconic elements like Knowledge, Skill and Behaviour. Teaching is embedded with all significant features aided with technology and modern learning tools through e - content and e- learning. The college transcends excellence by imparting various Value Added Programmes, Placement Training, Outbound Training and Industrial Collaborations. Earn while Learn is the motto of our Production Units, these units act as a platform for the students to do research and standardize the process of production and our students are trained in Government approved Entrepreneur Development Cell. It helps them to develop their Entrepreneurial skills. Research and Development Cell of the College has bestowed the prominent research environment to promote the spirit of research through various activities. Student Incubation Centre has an equivalent role in maintaining the consistency of the students' research attitude through their Project Proposals to the Management. The Best Projects are scrutinized by the Panel of Experts and provide them stipend through Student Incubation Centre. As the college envisages Moulding True Citizens, it has incorporated many healthy practices to make the academic structure more students friendly.
