NeighborWorks Omaha (NWO) is a not-for-profit 501c3 corporation that provides economic and community development services that include affordable quality housing, business development, job creation and retention. We strive to serve residents in the greater Omaha/Council Bluffs metropolitan areas, including Douglas, Sarpy, and Pottawattamie counties in Nebraska and Iowa with an emphasis on low to moderate income families, minorities, and women. AFFORDABLE HOUSING SERVICES Providing affordable housing for qualified participants based on income and family size, with an emphasis on low to moderate income families, minorities, and women Get up to $50,000 to use toward the purchase of homes that we build. Incentives are based on your income and family size. HEALTHY AND SAFE HOUSING SERVICES Eliminating lead poisoning as a major public health threat to young children in the 68111 zip code by increasing the number of lead-safe housing units. EMPOWERED HOUSING SERVICES Assisting start up and existing small businesses with business and computer training, business counseling, micro loans, and networking opportunities.
