This is executed by running a business partner directory, an education program in schools and fundraising events.Currently, more than 10,000 people with spinal cord injury are living in our community, with 400 new cases occuring every year cost the government a $1 billion annually and increases by $70 million each year.The research is focused on protection of nerve cells in the spinal cord immediately following injury. By limiting the damage to less than 80% we know that indivuals will retain mobility.
