The objectives of this line of research are the navigation research of autonomous land-based mobile robots, whether wheeled or legged, aerial, whether they are airplanes or helicopters, or aquatic, whether surface or submarine. Themes related to coordinated control of mobile robots are also dealt with, for the performance of tasks in cooperation with other mobile robots, as well as sensory aspects, such as computer vision, including omnidirectional vision, laser scanner, etc. Finally, topics related to the rehabilitation of people with severe motor disabilities are also addressed, using various robotic devices (exoskeletons).
