Net350 believes the market is underestimating the importance of non-CO2 negative emission technologies (NETs, also called greenhouse gas removal (GGR)). NETs are removal technologies, distinct from the (very important) areas of emissions reduction and point source capture.Many see CO2 NETs as an increasingly important weapon in the climate change battle—billions have been invested in CO2 NETs over the past several years totaling billions of dollars, and with investments are accelerating. But very few are paying attention to non-CO2 NETs (methane, nitrous oxide or other greenhouse gases). Therein lies the opportunity on which Net350 is focused.
