NeuroUnderstanding is a revolutionary teacher professional development program. In top institutions from east to west coasts, research is being done on the development of the human brain from infancy to adulthood. However, this research which would help teachers be more effective in less time, is rarely made available to them. At NeuroUnderstanding, this neuroscience research is distilled into useable knowledge for those who teach adolescents, to improve students' 21st century skill set including critical and creative thinking, global and cross-cultural awareness, group communication and collaboration, and digital literacy. NeuroUnderstanding is in its pilot testing phase. Two mini-modules are available for free on our website, and facilitators are available to run workshops around the country. We currently have users throughout the country and abroad. Every week, more teachers are signing up for our online modules, and workshops are available for interested schools. At this critical juncture in teacher professional development, and education as an industry, NeuroUnderstanding is constantly working to improve the work and lives of as many teachers as possible across the country and around the world.
