Food Processing - Fort Worth, TX, US
NGBC is the brainchild of Stan Hudson and Sean Doublet. Stan is an engineer by trade and has been a homebrewer since 2007, focusing on the science and precision of brewing. "Being able to express the passion and joy I get in producing these beers in such a way that the customers can actually feel it, making it tangible to the consumer, is the goal. I love to engage my artistic side without compromising the process or quality". Sean is a Chemist by education and has vast experience in large scale chemical manufacturing. "Fermentation is probably the oldest chemical reaction that humans learned to control. For many years, I thought that owning a brewery would be a fun business." Stan hails from Lampasas, TX, and attended Texas A&M University. Sean is originally from New Orleans, LA, and attended Tulane University and University of Texas at Arlington. They chose the name Neutral Ground Brewing Company as an homage to their roots. The original "neutral ground" was the disputed border between what is now LA and TX after the LA purchase in 1803. The two opposing generals decided to set aside fighting in the area until the border was established by the governments. The neutral ground was a place where everyone came together for free trade and a fun. The current usage of neutral ground in New Orleans is the grassy area dividing a street—the median. NGBC is a family oriented, inclusive business that thrives on individuality and diversity in all that we do. We are a proud, 50% black owned business. We are excited to offer a unique beer drinking experience and to create new beer lovers in Fort Worth and beyond. We are proud to call River East our home and excited to be good neighbors in the community by attracting customers to the area. The hope is to achieve a comfortable, welcoming place that blends our unique backgrounds and experiences and gives the community a new brewery home. We look forward to serving you later this year!
