Nevada State Board Of Nursing is a seven-member board appointed by the Nevada Governor consisting of four registered nurses, one practical nurse, one certified nursing assistant, and one consumer member. The Nevada State Board of Nursing is responsible for licensing, certifying and disciplining Nevada's nurses. Additional areas of responsibility include: setting practice standards, adopting regulations, collaboration with consumers and other regulatory agencies, education to increase public awareness, and approving schools of nursing and nursing assistant training programs.
