Nevco Marketing was originally my consulting and sales representation business that later evolved to include a Digital Marketing Consulting business and a Self Publishing business. Past assignments (2002 - 2007) included sales representation contracts with several sporting goods industry leaders to cover national accounts management at Walmart (US & Canada), Canadian Tire, Target, The Sports Authority, government and military markets, and special markets. Now, my consulting work is focussed on the Retail Automotive industry with my specialization being training and marketing your dealership sales & service team to website visitors using a system called Online Digital Brag Book.When I got into the car business (2007), I soon started marketing myself as "A Friend in the Car Business" with a website, blog, YouTube channel, and Facebook page for prospective car buyers who wanted to be prepared before undertaking their car buying project. These social media were my way to educate current and potential clients on topics related to buying, leasing, and owning a car. It was my experience that better educated clients were easier to sell. I was among the very first car salespeople in Canada to generate leads from my own digital marketing activity.Some years later (2015), I created an online sales training identity under the "Showroom Sales Skills" brand which is directed at car salespeople who have recently entered the business and are looking for tested and relevant selling skills and techniques that resonate with today's customers. I have created dozens of books, videos, and instructional materials to support this brand.These "platforms" are the basis for a wide range of books, video courses, and other sales & marketing resources related to (and for the benefit of) automotive retail industry customers, salespeople as well as support for dealership management.Gordon Wright
