Founded in 2002, New Asia Partners is a Minneapolis-based private equity firm focused on investing in privately held, middle market Asian based companies principally in the health services, consumer/retail, environmental and natural resources sectors. NAP holds three following core principles: 1. NAP brings investment services to the Asian privately held, middle market companies by adhering to our motto of "Global Expertise, Local Knowledge." 2. With the passionate belief that the rise of developing Asia would change the history of the world, NAP would seek out local, entrepreneurial management teams running companies in the following industries: • Health Sciences including pharmaceuticals, medical devices and medical services; • Food & Beverage including restaurant chains; • Consumer/Retail including consumer products, lifestyle products and retail chains; • Alternative Energy/Environment including waste and environmental management, energy distribution and water treatment; and • Natural Resources and Commodities. 3. In a world of "other people's money," NAP acts as a partner with its investees by investing its own money in its deals and serving on the board of each investee. Through our capital and advice, NAP seeks to create a win-win situation for our investees and investors by allowing the investees access to international capital markets to fund their growth and investors to play the "Asia story."
