The New Covenant Church had its auspicious beginning in 1972. It was originally known as the Inner-City Outreach Ministry (IOCM). God inspired Elder Fred W. Washington of 29 years of age to move by faith and establish a ministry in the south side of Minneapolis. The church was founded with the mission to reach out into the community with the message of hope and deliverance through Jesus Christ.OUR MANDATEThe development of a masterpiece ministry to attain the optimum effectiveness in ministering.OUR MISSIONThe saving of souls; the perfecting of saints; the working of the ministry; and the edifying of the body of Christ.
