New England Association of Arabic Teachers Details
The New England Association for Arabic Teachers (NEAAT) is a no-fee professional network for K-16 Arabic instructors supported by the Marhaba Project and the Outreach Center for the Center for Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard University. Since 2011, NEAAT has supported annual gatherings of Arabic instructors from the five state region of New England. The goal of NEAAT is to nurture formal and informal Arabic instruction to aid the development of Arabic teaching resources including content and curriculum training and the disbursement of library teaching tools. Current membership is about 100 educators, administrators, and community members.
