We are a growing community of dedicated Christians from a breadth of denominational backgrounds dedicated to serving together and learning to emulate Jesus Christ in more comprehensive, continual ways. We have adopted as our mission statement Matthew 28:19-20, "Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Our particular emphases that differentiate ourselves from nearby organizations include: - Discipleship, mentorship, and leadership training: We strive to enable all persons in our community to be mentored on all matters of life and spirituality and to empower them to put to use the talents and gifts that they have been given. - Flexibility, service, and creativity: We functioned for a long time without a permanent location, and so our culture features people who are flexible in adapting to new experiences and changes of plan, as well as people who are active in helping such to happen and creative in finding new ways to take advantage of these opportunities for change. - Unity in relationship; steadfastness in truth: Our community brings together people from many backgrounds: Mennonite, Presbyterian, Brethren, Catholic, and Baptist, to name a few. We are also diverse in age and race, and we give everyone equal standing in opportunities to express opinions and impact the community. Our leadership does not sacrifice preaching truth from the Bible for unity, but we eagerly encourage all to discuss and discern the truth. Overall, we are an active, accepting community that loves Jesus and loves each other!
