We aspire to be leaders in enabling: - Meaningful, self-directed work and non-work lives - Communities to build on strengths and realise beneficial outcomes - Social action and community enterprise Outcomes since 2006 include: - "Beat NEET" coaching to help 300 school leavers find employment, education and training (from 85.5% to 98.5% over 3 years in London) - Pro-Active Life Skills (PALS) programmes enabling self-motivated behaviour, attitude and habit change - Pro-Active Work Skills (PAWS) programmes in schools and communities - STC / HMP desistance pilots - Pro-Active Vocation Enterprise (PAVE) programmes enabling students to acquire PALS and PAWS from social business ventures - Working with Initiative programmes enabling participants to secure sustainable employment using their own initiative for non-advertised job hunting - Pro-Active Community Enterprise (PACE): new jobs, re-purposing of facilities, paid work experience; managing community assets; a radio station; a homework club; regenerating playing fields, a 50 grass-cutting / small works maintenance business and The Toolshed vocational training centre in High Wycombe - Social landlord clients new social ventures, including Academy 4 Housing, Access Training and Inspire to Achieve - Enterprise / Construction projects in The Gambia that enable local communities to establish and multiply sustainable routes out of extreme poverty - Establishment of local Gambian organisations MoJo Foundation and MoJo Construction Limited to train and employ previously long-term unemployed young adults in block making / sales and a 4 hectare community enterprise village (in conjunction with Gambia Technical Training Institute, GTTI)
