The New Music Fest is a uniquely programmed music festival with a focus on supporting tourism and development of both independent and commercial musicians in various regions. The New Music Fest takes place on different dates in multiple cities, which currently include Barrie and Sudbury, ON BARRIE NEW MUSIC FEST The 5th annual Barrie New Music Fest is a live music festival is scheduled for July 19th -22nd, 2012. The festival will feature over 75 live touring artists of various genres, performing a series of concerts/showcases at Barrie's finest live music venues. SUDBURY NEW MUSIC FEST The 1st annual Sudbury New Music Fest is a live music festival is scheduled for June 7th - 9th, 2012. The festival will feature over 50 live touring artists of various genres, performing a series of concerts/showcases at Sudbury's finest live music venues. NEW MUSIC AWARDS The New Music Awards will act as a wrap up to the Barrie New Music Fest and is being held on Sunday July 22nd 2012.
