The New Seed Theatre company is a new Twin Cities, MN based theatre company with a vision for revolution through meeting, seeking, and empowering.MeetIn a world where "Friend" is a button we click and "Social" is a business networking term, we believe creating space to meet and meeting there. When people really meet and start to talk and start to grow together… That's where revolution starts. We're in the business of opening that space and being an excuse to get together.SeekThere was a time when it was ok to think we had it all figured out… or at least we were close. But now… we know that isn't true. In a globalizing, multi-cultural, inter-generational, quantum physic, information saturated, increasingly dimensional world, where is Life? Love? Truth? How do we live? How do we get past the simplistic answers and really seek? …well, first lets meet, then lets tell stories, then lets see what happens…EmpowerWhat happens is we empower each other to live out what we seek, in relationships, in community, in art…So much of the art business today consists of throwing artists against the giant walls of New York and L.A. and seeing who sticks (then flushing the rest). We don't think that's right. Part of the goal of this company is to seek new, sustainable ways of doing our art forms.And that's just one place to empower.The RevolutionThis isn't a political revolution, a new ideology, a business take over, or anything like that. This is to be a revolution where it counts, in the normal, the everyday, the talking to a friend, the dealing with an enemy, the working, the playing, the living, the dying. This is new seeds being planted in a garden. This is that garden growing, giving fruit, dying, spreading, and growing again. This is Meeting. This is Seeking. This is Empowering. This is Hoping.
