Entertainment/Media - Abilene, TX, US
"Ever since I was little, professional wrestling has been a passion I could never shake. The only thing I ever wanted to do was wrestle or watch wrestling -- not that there was much else to do in Abilene, Texas. But that small town childhood meant that pro wrestling never consistently came through my town. My parents' generation would tell me about how the Von Erichs, Funks, Windams, and Rhodes would come through Abilene all the time. Who could forget the Don "The Lawman" Slatton commercials, or how John "Bradshaw" Layfield, born in Sweetwater and went to Abilene Christian University, then went on to become WWE Champion? One of my goals getting into wrestling was to bring that live, affordable, first-class, family friendly wrestling back to Abilene and the Big Country. That form of entertainment that has sorely been lacking from that area for far too long, and something I never got a chance to experience in my youth. On the eve of "All-In", and how hot independent pro wrestling is right now, I'm lucky to announce that...Today, I get to see the first steps of that goal achieved. I'm proud to announce I am bringing my brand "New Texas Pro Wrestling", with some of the best talent from around the state of Texas and across the country, to Abilene and the surrounding area. Our first show is October 28, 2018 in Colorado City, Texas. The next step is Abilene before the end of the year."-Kiefer Bartek
