It's possible...The Rural Housing Coalition is a technical assistance and training provider for local housing agencies seeking to create affordable housing and revitalize the small rural Villages and towns, primarily in New York State. The Coalition builds the capacity and expertise of local housing and community development organizations to utilize grant and loan funds to develop programs and projects that will have a transformative impact on struggling communities, bettering the lives of rural residents. The Coalition has a 24 member Board of Directors representing affordable housing development organizations and others interested in revitalizing the rural communities across New York State. The Coalition hosts the largest rural-focused training conference for rural housing agencies in NY each fall. We are always looking for presenters on affordable housing development-related topics.
