Our research and experience have revealed that innovation thrives or struggles because of the culture and not because of the level of intelligence or creativity among employees. And, innovation and company culture is what NewBeat focuses on. We help companies get conscious of their cultural "beat" and where necessary, help create a new beat that will better drive their strategy for innovation. We offer a simple tool, the Innovation Insighter that enables organizations to pinpoint their best opportunities to build a culture of innovation. The Innovation Insighter provides an assessment of the organization against seven cultural markers that are essential to innovation. These markers are actionable, and we offer follow-up interventions to build innovation leadership skills, design more effective work processes, enhance cross-functional communication, align technology with innovation goals, and develop organizational networks. Our two principals are Kristi Droppers and Jean Singer. Kristi is a seasoned professional bringing more than 20 years of experience in the areas of culture, communication and change. Jean is an expert on building organizational networks, most recently co-editing "The Organizational Network Fieldbook: Best Practices, Techniques and Exercises to Drive Organizational Innovation and Performance."
