Newcastle School for Boys is the north east region's only independent school providing education for boys only aged 3 to 18. We are situated in Gosforth, a leafy suburb just north of the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne.When it comes to learning, there is a set of characteristics that boys display. And as a boys school, we tailor that learning experience in small classes to meet the needs of boys.A small school of around 400 boys, we know each boy well both as an individual and as a learner. We use these factors to ensure each boy makes the most academic progress possible and achieves as highly as he can. An excellent education is not just about exam results as important though they are.
