Newcomb Anderson McCormick (NAM) was founded in 2005 as a California-based energy engineering and program management consulting firm. With offices in San Francisco and Los Angeles, the firm has provided services to public and private sector clients, focusing on utilities, colleges and universities, and state and local government agencies. Throughout its 13-year history, NAM designed and implemented some of the largest and most innovative energy efficiency and sustainability programs in the state of California. This work included managing publicly funded energy efficiency partnership programs serving the 33 campuses in the University of California and California State University systems, 72 California community college districts, and 34 state correctional facilities.NAM's team of engineers analyzed a diverse collection of buildings, including school districts, military bases, and over 300 state-owned buildings. Additionally, NAM's statewide higher education utility partnerships have resulted in the implementation of more than 3,000 projects, realizing over $200 million dollars in annual savings per year. NAM has also evaluated or managed the procurement and installation of over 250 MW of solar photovoltaic systems, primarily in the public sector.In 2018, NAM was acquired by Willdan to strengthen its engineering expertise and expand public sector services in California.
