Welcome to "NEWLYWED AND BROKE", a hilarious new Single-Camera Comedy. Ambitious Stan Miguelles, the man with a plan for everything, is caught off guard when he meets and marries spontaneous artist Mia. But, before the honeymoon can even begin, Stan is fired, arrested, and poverty stricken. In trying to help, his gold-digging adopted sister, Angie and oblivious best friend Otis Jackson, only make matters worse! Sound familiar? Well, it did to us, so instead of crying about it, we decided to create a comedy! It will be shot in the vein of "30 Rock" and "Arrested Development". We're a group of Los Angeles Actors/Writers experienced in making people laugh, whether on purpose or by accident. We've spent the last few months huddled in our creative cave working on the script and characters, but must now venture out of hibernation and into your hearts for support!
