"Newsha Hearing Institute" was founded under supervision of state welfare organization of Iran to provide habilitative/rehabilitative services for the hearing impaired infants, children and their family, in 2001. A variety of services is available for children aged 7 years and below that include:Identification and early intervention of hearing lossCounseling and parental educationAuditory trainingSpeech and language therapyOccupational therapy"Newsha Hearing Institute" is the first comprehensive rehabilitation center for hearing impairments in Tehran, Iran, and the official representative of the Alexander Graham Bell Association for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (AG Bell) since 2003.Our hearing rehabilitation team consists of experienced Audiologists, Speech and language therapists, Psychologists, Occupational therapists and other professionals in related disciplines. Through our Auditory-Verbal Therapy (AVT) program and a range of therapy services, infants through children age 24 month receive the right habilitative/rehabilitative services to overcome their special needs.
