Newton-le-Willows FC has been providing the opportunity for local people to take part in organised football for well over 20 years.Our mission is to provide Football For All, regardless of ability, gender or cultural background.Operating from our base at Newton le Willows Sports Club we have teams from U7 – U18s playing organised football in the Warrington Junior Football League and Open Age playing in the Warrington District League. We also have our academy for children aged 2-6 teaching them the basics of football and how to be an active team member.In 2017 we became an FA Approved ‘SSE Wildcats' development club for girls football. Girls football is going from strength to strength with more teams planned for the coming seasonsWe are proud to have been awarded FA Charter Standard Community Club status in May 2016. FA Charter Standard Community acknowledges the most advanced level of club development and football provision. Furthermore we were awarded the Liverpool County FA Community Charter Standard Club of the year award in 2017.Our club organisation skills were recognised by the Warrington Junior Football League who presented us with the ‘Secretary of the Year' award for season 2017-18Every team is trained by a coach with the FA Level 1 coaching qualification & club officials are CRC checked. We have an increasing number of FA Level 2 coaches .
