Next Generation Youth Development (NxTG)'s mission is to serve as the catalyst for a community approach that supports the advancement of vulnerable youth via in-school mentoring, a prevention clubhouse and a post-secondary support initiative. At NxTG we believe in the power of youth and their right to have equal access and opportunities to reach their full potential.NxTG embraces a holistic strength-based approach to working with youth in the prevention arena - we believe in truly engaging youth to address more than just the factors that place them at risk, but nurturing what makes them unique, building on their strengths, allowing them the opportunity to have new experiences and empowering them to reach their full potential.The NxTG Clubhouse bridges the gap of the digital divide via hands-on experiences. We believe in a strength/project-based approach to learning; via innovative projects our youth learn critical and analytical thinking skills that enhance their ability to navigate the 21st century.
