Nonprofit Organization Management - Boston, Massachusetts, United States
WHO WE ARENext Mile Project is an integrated co-working space and collaborative community where mission-driven nonprofits connect, learn, and grow together. These curated spaces allow nonprofit entrepreneurs to find information on best practices, share questions and seek answers, and connect with similarly minded teams across the world.Launched as an experiment in social innovation, the Next Mile Project was founded by Vilas Dhar and funded by Dhar Law, LLP. After proof of concept, the design was refined and relocated to build a self-sustaining model in 2015.WHAT WE DONext Mile Project is an incubator for nonprofits, launched in Boston in 2013. We provide philanthropically subsidized office space, marketing assistance, legal services, strategic guidance, administrative support, supplies, and facilitated onsite training and exchange of ideas. In addition to these resources, members also have access to our intern-run Media Lab that delivers quality video production, photography, marketing, graphic design, and other media-related services to help our member organizations broadcast their missions and impact. Interns also work to expand NMP's online presence by producing informational videos, blog posts, forms, and templates. THE NMP DIFFERENCEOur culture – rooted in engagement and education – is a significant differentiating factor to most other office environments. We facilitate information exchange through informal community-wide "Lunch and Learn" discussions, where members brainstorm and share best practices. We also sponsor formally organized educational workshops to advance proven management techniques and foster the professional development of our socially conscious entrepreneurs. Together, we build strong, impactful organizations addressing some of the world's most pressing issues.CONNECT WITH USTwitter: @NextMileProjectFacebook: facebook.com/NextMileProjectInstagram: nextmileproject_boston
