NH Taskforce on Women & Recovery is a members driven agency. Members are women and men with lived experience in recovery, allies, professionals and concerned citizens. Together we work to ensure that no New Hampshire woman need choose between her safety and her sobriety or between caring for her minor children and getting the help that she needs. NHTWR provides trauma informed trainings to women in recovery, community and human service workers, corrections, probation, and parole officers and the general public. We run regular intensive empowerment trainings to women in recovery both in and out of the prison system and follow up with bi-weekly check-in groups. NHTWR also works to reduce high rates of underage drinking among New Hampshire girls through empowerment groups, informed educational presentations, and referral services.
