NIANGO is a platform and fashion brand dedicated to creating an inclusive environment within the fashion and clothing-making industry.Our mission is to shift the narrative around the representation and contribution of marginalized groups' know-how or craftsmanship in the Fashion Industry and to do it in a way that represents and respects their spirit, culture, and approach to transactions.We fulfill this mission by raising awareness around non-mainstream know-how, especially those made by communities of women artisans, minorities, and marginalized communities. We also challenge mainstream fashion by emphasizing transparency in our processes, fair transactions, and promoting artisanal and traditional know-how of women's communities while raising awareness of the issues affecting them.
