The Network for Intercultural Competence to facilitate Entrepreneurship (NICE) is a multi-university collaboration to help students to develop intercultural competencies and entrepreneurial skills. It will teach them how to apply these skills to global and societal challenges by working together in virtual transnational teams and some of them by attending a summer school.Collaborating Universities: Lund University, University College Dublin, University of Amsterdam, University of Edinburgh (leading institution), University of Goettingen, University of Iasi, University of Padova, University of Salamanca.The NICE Project will deliver:- Students will work through interactive virtual toolkits focused on intercultural competence and entrepreneurship- Students will complete a Student-Led, Individually-Created Course (SLICC), which is a self-directed, reflective learning course focusing on the skills you are learning in the toolkits- Students will build an innovative business idea in a team to solve a Global Challenge that they have chosen together.- Students will work in teams with students from around Europe to create your business idea and you will receive credits awarded by the University of Edinburgh for the work they completed within their SLICC. When they have completed this work, they will be provided with a certificate of completion and will be able to apply for a week long, summer school to continue building your skills.
