Nick Camillo's romance with music began after picking up his first guitar at the tender age of 12 in his Stratford, CT basement. Since 2003 Nick Camillo has been a part of the Connecticut, New York, and Boston music scenes, and currently resides in Washington DC. Although he has been recording for 7 years, Camillo has recently released Ad Infinitum, his first official album. Blending the warm acoustics of Simon and Garfunkel or Elliott Smith with the sound of alternative artists, such as Grizzly Bear or Fleet Foxes, Camillo's latest work displays a dialogue between his roots and contemporary influences. Working with longtime friend and former band mate Sam Casaccio, the two bring a production quality to the album worthy of Camillo's songwriting. A long time folk artist, Nick Camillo creates music that is refreshing and simple on the surface, while communicating deeper emotional topics. His music experiments with sentiments of beautiful simplicity, calm contemplation, and lyrical depth. The result is an album that truly moves the listener.
