Nikon Kids Photo Club is an initiative to develop photography skills in youngsters in order to give them a hands-on learning experience from a very young age. Photography is an art, and the thing with art is that it improves manifold with a good eye and intuition. By providing the kids with early exposure, Nikon is making sure they develop these skills at a point in their lives where they're the most impressionable. The Nikon Kids Photo Club organises various programmes to accommodate children with different needs and interests. They have an After-School Program that involves short and regular after-school sessions for children aged 5-16 wherein each session has a new theme. They also conduct special Nikon School Camps in a number of schools where they aim to build confidence and self-esteem in children through photography skills. Moreover, from time to time, they even organise Travel Tours that are trips to picturesque places where each trip is designed to teach the basics of photography to participants in an environment that can provide practice in abundance.
